MINNEAPOLIS — Mayo Clinic will get another president and CEO toward the finish of the year when Dr. Gianrico Farrugia (jan-REE’- koh fa-ROO’- jah) assumes control from Dr. John Noseworthy, who is resigning.
The incredibly famous medicinal services association situated in Rochester, Minnesota, made the declaration Friday.
Farrugia has been CEO of Mayo’s Jacksonville, Florida, grounds since 2015. He discloses to The Associated Press he’ll work intimately with Noseworthy amid the progress time frame.
Farrugia says he’s blessed to assume control when Mayo is in “an unbelievably solid position,” seeing more patients and giving them preferable care over any other time in recent memory.
