Olympic board subtle elements Sochi coaster champion’s doping case
LAUSANNE, Switzerland – An Olympic disciplinary board says “intense” proof demonstrated that two-time coaster gold medalist Alexander Zubkov partook in the 2014 Sochi Games doping connivance.
In its full choice distributed on Thursday of a Nov. 24 decision, the IOC disciplinary board led by Denis Oswald point by point why it precluded Zubkov and prohibited him for life from the Olympics.
The decisions states one specimen had “an unusually abnormal state of salt” and two scratched bottles were messed with.
Research center staff added salt to clean put away pee that was swapped in for steroid-polluted specimens amid the recreations.
The board says comparative confirmation exists in seven more cases from Russia’s Sochi sled groups.
Zubkov, who conveyed Russia’s banner at the Sochi opening function, has spoke to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
