Supermodel Christie Brinkley returns to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue
Supermodel Christie Brinkley will excellence the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue toward the day’s end, this time joined by her two adult young ladies.
Brinkley, who has as of late turned 63, once affected the world perpetually by appearing on the Swimsuit Issue cover for three consecutive years – in 1979, 1980 and 1981.
The spreads kickstarted her exhibiting calling, which saw her meeting the world’s most interesting ranges until hanging up her string swimming outfits in 2004.
Brinkley revealed to People magazine she was hesitant about appearing in Sports Illustrated yet again.
“My initially accepted was, ‘At my age? Zero chance!'”
“I thought, ‘Those days are over.’ But to find the opportunity to do it with my young women, I thought, ‘One last go!'”
Brinkley and her daughters Alexa Ray Joel, 31, and Sailor Brinkley Cook, 18, acted for the magazine on a shoreline in Turks and Caicos in the Bahamas.
The supermodel might want to address the issue of age division, saying: “Women feel astoundingly limited by their numbers. On an individual level, I thought, in case I can pull this off, I think it will help rename those numbers and oust a segment of the fear of developing.”
